In order to further strengthen the professional level and to prepare the company for continued growth, Hjerno has recruited five new employees, who have their first working day during April.
"Five new employees is almost a staff increase of ten percent. And of course this emphasises that things are going well for our company, and that we expect further growth," says Managing Director Aage Agergaard.
A house of specialists
The employments include a coordinating manager, a CAD/CAM specialist, and three experienced tool makers for the electrical discharge machining department, the milling department and the assembly department respectively. They join a staff of employees that are already highly specialised and have many years of experience in producing demanding high-quality tools.
"We continually get new, large customers, who challenge us with exciting tasks. It requires both a certain number of employees and some skilled specialists within the various branches of tool production," explains Aage Agergaard.
Super sharp specialists
For example, Hjerno’s new CAD/CAM specialist will help to preprogramme the milling machines for night operation in order to optimally utilise the capacity of the machinery.
Moreover, as an experienced CAD specialist he will act as the repair department's extended arm in the workshop so that our staff there does not always need to go to an engineer, if parts of a tool need to be drawn up again.
"It is a very good example of the fact that our company is becoming more and more specialised. As an employee at Hjerno you become a specialist within a very narrow field, but on the other hand you will be also become super, super sharp within the area in question. Which ultimately will be to the benefit of both the employee and our customers," Aage Agergaard explains.
