New areas of responsibility in production and logistics

In the continuing efforts to streamline production as much as possible, Hjerno has implemented a number of changes in the organisation.

Our current logistics manager, Søren Larsen (pictured to the right), has become our new Progress & Purchase Manager responsible for ensuring compliance with production schedules and reporting to our customers.

"It is important to emphasise that Søren will not be a project manager. He does not need to be completely familiar with the technical details, but he should see the big picture. So to speak, he should be the customer's in-house representative and he should be the customer's guarantor that production meets its deadlines," explains Managing Director Aage Agergaard.

Søren's new position means that part of his previous work tasks is transferred to logistics employee Mohammed Ali. He will in future be responsible for all incoming goods and shipments.

Also in the production several employees have been given new responsibilities. Jesper Eg Larsen will in future be responsible for special, technically demanding projects, Ulrik Andersen for repairs and Lars Arntoft for new tools.

The production planning itself will continue to be handled of by Tool Shop Manager Kristian Jessen Hansen, who also has the overall responsibility for the entire production.

"We are making these changes to meet our customers' demands for high quality as well as high delivery reliability. This means, of course, that we have quite a lot of managers in this company, but all are based in the same common OrderFlow system that we implemented earlier this year," says Aage Agergaard.
