Hjerno appoints new Chief Operating Officer

Kristian Jessen Hansen has been promoted to Hjerno's new COO, and thus joins the company's management.

For the past four years, Kristian Jessen Hansen has held a number of different functions in the organisation, most recently as our production manager.

“The promotion of Kristian is a recognition of his abilities and at the same time an important element in the overall strengthening of our organisation. We have gradually become a large company with over 60 employees, and this requires clear lines of authority and a clear-cut organisation, where we manage to utilise the competencies of the individual employee,” says Managing Director Aage Agergaard.

Background as self-employed

Kristian Jessen Hansen is a trained tool maker and has a long-standing background in the tool industry, however interrupted by an extended period as self-employed.

As our COO, he now draws on that background, while on a daily basis sharing an office with Hjerno's Business Strategy Specialist, Kris Agergaard. In future, it will be their joint responsibility to contribute to the further development of the company.

“Kristian's background, both as a tool maker and as self-employed, gives him a really good foundation, which he can now expand for our benefit,” says Aage Agergaard.

New Tool Shop Manager

Kristian Jessen Hansen is not the only Hjerno employee, who has been given a new title recently.

Following the promotion of Kristian Jessen Hansen, Ulrik Andersen, who until recently acted as our production coordinator, has been promoted to Tool Shop Manager.
