Parts simulation (Moldex 3D)

hjerno moldex3d 01To ensure perfect parts and tools, all tool parts are subject to a thorough simulation test before we begin the actual tool design.

Amongst others, we are testing:

  • Point of inlet
  • Volume analysis
  • Cast/warpage
  • Shrinkage
  • Air inclusion etc.
  • Calculation of clamping force
We are in this way making an overall estimation whether it should be necessary to optimise the part in critical points.

Afterwards the customer receives a print of the analyses with the most important parameters in order to solve any problems.

We use the Moldex3D Professional Solution Package, which is the most comprehensive software package for plastic simulation.
